Paid Opportunity | February (Black History Month)

Honorarium: $100 per actor

Trillium Health Partners’ Black History Working Group is seeking actors to participate in an interactive teaching skit developed for our Black History Month leadership event.

This initiative is part of THP’s ongoing anti-racism and equity journey and aligns with the following strategic priorities:

  • Inspire and invest in a diverse Team THP
  • Deliver the highest quality of care
  • Partner within a seamless healthcare system
  • Shape a healthier community for all

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The teaching skits are short, scripted reenactments of real-world scenarios of discrimination within healthcare settings. They are designed to foster reflection, dialogue, and learning among leaders attending an in-person Black History Month event.

Each skit will:

  • Run approximately 5–10 minutes
  • Include intentional pauses facilitated by a moderator
  • Invite guided reflection and discussion

These are not performances for entertainment—they are purposeful learning tools rooted in lived experience, compassion, and courage.
