The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is seeking a talented freelance Graphic Designer to support our marketing and communications initiatives for the 2026–27 season.

Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Production, the successful candidate will help bring the MSO’s artistic vision to life through compelling visual design. From season brochures and concert posters to digital campaigns and event signage, you’ll play an important role in strengthening the MSO brand and engaging audiences across print, digital, and social media.

We’re looking for a creative professional with a strong eye for design and experience producing high-quality marketing materials, including:

  • Concert posters
  • Brochures and promotional materials
  • Pop-up banners and event signage
  • Social media graphics and digital advertising assets

This is a freelance, project-based opportunity, with work available throughout the season on a flexible, as-needed basis. This opportunity is best suited to an experienced freelance designer who enjoys collaborating with arts organizations and can work independently while managing multiple projects throughout the season.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in both print and digital graphic design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Excellent typography, layout, and visual communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work within established brand guidelines
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver highquality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Experience preparing artwork for both print production and digital platforms
  • Experience designing for the arts, entertainment, or live events is considered an asset
