Call for Artists who are Seniors (65+)
Have you been an artist for 30+ years?
Are you interested in sharing your artistic story through a short documentary film?
Apply to be a part of SAWITRI Theatre’s new Holding Memories Program.
SAWITRI Theatre Group is seeking up to 10 senior-aged artists (65+) to participate in a personal story-telling project that will capture their artistic vision and career in a story-driven short documentary film.
- Applicants can be from any artistic discipline (dance, film/video, literary arts, music, theatre, visual art)
- Applicants must be 65+ years of age
- Applicants must have 30+ years as a practicing artist
- Applicants must be based in Mississauga
- Applicants must be prepared to share their story and develop it into a film script (with the support of the program).
