Discover what makes the Lakeshore Art Trail so special. This year, we proudly celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Lakeshore Art Trail with a series of memorable spotlight stories.
Our goal is to share the rich history, meaningful moments, and inspiring voices of the artists, volunteers, supporters, and community members who have shaped our journey. Together, they continue to make the Lakeshore Art Trail a vibrant and special tradition year after year.
Today, we’re delighted to spotlight the “love story” of Gail and Ed.
Gail Backus and Ed Clarke are longtime Lakeshore Art Trail members and talented artists. Both have been part of the Trail since its early days, where a beautiful love story began, sparked by their shared passion for art and the connections formed within our creative community.
