Together for Tomorrow: Earth Days in Action

February 6 - April 13

Free

This exhibit takes a look at how climate change is affecting our community, from rising temperatures and extreme weather events to disruptions in ecosystems and communities.

Climate change is real and it’s happening now. Over the last decade, Mississauga has experienced intense heat waves, rain, flooding, and winter storms. Experts believe that these extreme weather patterns will only become worse in the future.

The City of Mississauga is already taking steps to tackle these issues by reducing carbon emissions, adapting to climate change, and promoting sustainability through local policies and initiatives.  But, the truth is, we all have a role to play. By making small changes—like saving energy and backing green initiatives—you can help create a more sustainable future. Together, we can address the urgency of climate change and play an important part in protecting our planet for future generations.
