Art of balance: Mind, body and spirit

Join us for a playful, screen-free experience designed to help you explore balance, focus, and just have a fun Saturday! Discover how art and movement support children’s holistic development. Young artists from the Focus & Flow program will share their installations, which are centred on mindfulness and balance.
At 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., we will offer a mindfulness activity. We’ll begin with a short guided breath work session to help you slow down, centre yourself, and arrive fully in the moment. Then, try your hand at balancing rocks. Observe your thoughts as stacks topple, experiment, and find calm in the process. Each attempt builds patience, focus, and resilience, creating a mindful, playful pause from daily routines. We’ll conclude with a brief meditation on balance and inner calm, leaving you feeling grounded, refreshed, and connected to your community.

Registration information:
• Included with PAMA admission, members are free. Admission can be purchased on the day of the program at the front desk.
• The mindfulness activity will take place at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
