Preston Gallery, renowned for its monthly arts shows and eclectic mix of styles and genres, is hanging work for their first group show, SOVA, the Southern Ontario Visual Artists Art Group. With its rich tapestry of genres and artistic expression, the SOVA Art Group, which started in 2014, is a group connected by friendship, passion for their work, and enjoyment of exhibiting together.

The show’s diverse range of media includes paintings in acrylics, oils, water colour, and scratchboard, with mixed media and photographic works as well. United by their mutual respect and admiration for each other’s work, Robert Chisholm, Lynden Cowan, Connie Munson, Helen Duplassie, Joanne Lomas, Daureen Murphy, Charlene Nickels, Margaret Pardy, Lynne Schumacher, Steve Wilson, Angela Burdon, and Michelle Eissler’s new show is called, As The Artists View It.

As the Artists View It … will be showcased at Preston Gallery at 77 Brock St W, Uxbridge, ON L9P 1P5 from May 5 – June 4 and is available to browse during regular hours: Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 am – 5 pm and from 8 am – to 5 pm on Saturdays.

Opened in May 2018, the Preston Gallery is an arts and cultural hub offering high-end arts supplies with photography services including photo restoration, printing, and framing. Fine art photographer and owner, Sabrina Leeder, connects artists from across Canada with art collectors while making art exhibits accessible and part of people’s lives.
