The OneWorld Peace Lumina Concert transforms the Living Arts Centre into a sanctuary of light and hope, weaving together breathtaking performances and heartfelt artistry across genres—from classical to Latin, pop to world music.
Presented by the OneWorld Peace Association and produced by Dolce De Soleil Music, the concert is led by Elsa Hsieh—pianist, conductor, and composer of Peace For All. Elsa is a multi-award-winning artist recognized for her contributions to music, art, and culture, and she serves as a Global Peace Ambassador with the International Peace Festival. Through her leadership, Dolce De Soleil Music has built a strong reputation for artistic excellence, deep ties with the Canadian music industry, and impactful collaborations with mainstream media. Recently selected by the City of Mississauga as part of the prestigious Love Local Music Program, Dolce De Soleil Music has been officially recognized for its ability to champion local musicians and create cultural experiences that inspire community pride.
The afternoon’s stellar lineup includes:
- Vasyl Popadiuk – internationally acclaimed Ukrainian violinist, often called the “Ukrainian Paganini.” A master of more than 15 musical styles, Popadiuk blends dazzling virtuosity with heartfelt emotion, captivating audiences worldwide.
- Patti Jannetta – beloved Canadian singer, songwriter, producer, and humanitarian. A trailblazer in Canada’s music scene, she has toured internationally with major stars, earned acclaim for her versatile performances, and created Music Makes Miracles, a production company dedicated to raising funds for charities and not-for-profits.
- Alexis Martinez – two-time Hollywood Entertainment Award winner and charismatic Latin singer whose powerful voice and dynamic stage presence bring audiences to their feet. Known for blending Latin passion with international flair, Alexis has headlined stages across North America, Europe, and beyond.
- Mykolas Savchuk – pan flute virtuoso whose soaring melodies capture the soul and uplift the spirit.
- The Polish Highlanders dance troupe – presenting vibrant and energetic cultural traditions.
- An award-winning women’s choir – voices raised in harmony, carrying the message of peace through song.
- The Youngest Peace Advocates children’s choir – reminding us what peace looks like through children’s eyes: innocent, pure, and filled with hope for the future.
Guiding the program is Lenny Graf, a cherished figure in Canada’s music scene. Coming from a rich musical family, Lenny is not only known for his warmth, humour, and ability to connect with people of all ages, but also for his professional achievements as the conductor of his own Platinum Orchestra. His engaging personality and deep musicality will ensure the afternoon flows with heart and joy.
