On Friday June 12, join host Angelo Brown for a summer evening of celebrating our city’s vibrant and often overlooked 2SLGBTQ+ community. The showcase will include a variety show of local queer stage performers and art vendors. Open to all ages and free refreshments provided!

The event will be taking place inside the church’s auditorium. As an Affirmed United Church, the organization has made many public statements regarding their dedication to celebrating and uplifting the 2SLGBTQ+ community. RISING COLOURS has ensured that the event will be completely secular. We would like this information to be upfront to potential participants, as both the committee and event leaders are aware of the painful history between queer people and the Church.
