The Chamber Music Society of Mississauga presents:

✨ VC2 Cello Duo & Cheryl Duvall

Cellists Amahl Arulanandam and Bryan Holt of VC2 are known for their imaginative, riveting performances that span classical masterworks, hidden gems, and boundary-pushing new music. Praised by CBC Music as “a tight unit, with excellent intonation and expression,” they have performed with major ensembles including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, and National Ballet of Canada Orchestra, and toured extensively across Canada and internationally.

Joining them is CMSM Artistic Director Cheryl Duvall, one of Canada’s foremost interpreters of contemporary music. A dynamic soloist and collaborator, she has performed across five continents and co-founded the acclaimed Thin Edge New Music Collective, commissioning over 80 new works. Her recordings — including Dark Flower and The Plains — have received JUNO recognition and international acclaim.

Together, they’ll present an evening of virtuosic cello duo repertoire, as well as works for two cellos and piano and intimate duo performances.
