From Mississauga Culture Division:

Building a thriving culture scene for everyone

What’s your experience of being a creative in Mississauga? And how can the creative sector work together to make life better for everyone?

You’re invited to join us for a discussion on March 9th about the future of arts, culture and heritage in Mississauga. Come learn about the experiences and activities of creators and organizations across the city. And share your thoughts about how we can make life better.

What supports are needed for creative professionals, and arts, culture and/or heritage groups in Mississauga? How can we all work together to continue to drive a unified vision for a culturally-rich Mississauga? How is the creative sector working to embed Truth and Reconciliation, and equity, diversity and inclusion in its work? What actions can we take to meaningfully address climate change, become more environmental sustainability and circular economy?

This session will directly inform the 2024 Future Directions Culture Plan and the Culture Division’s work over the next 5-10 years. We’ll be listening to each other, chatting in breakout rooms and as a group, and sharing our thoughts through online polls.

Your insights are critical to drive Mississauga’s thriving culture scene forward.

We hope to see you there!
