Join us for a special Multiculturalism Day Story Slam, an evening of storytelling, poetry, spoken word, and creative expression.
The theme of the event explores the intersections of culture, heritage, belonging, migration, identity, community, and self-discovery. Whether you’re sharing a personal story, performing a poem, or presenting spoken word, we invite you to bring your unique perspective and voice to the stage.
Each performer will be allotted a 10-minute time slot.
Our Story Slam is intended to be a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for everyone. We encourage honest expression and meaningful conversations while ensuring that all participants feel respected and valued. To help maintain this environment, performances must be free from:
- Profanity
- Hate speech
- Racism
- Homophobia, or other forms of discrimination
- Harassment or personal attacks
This is a space to celebrate our differences, our shared experiences, and the stories that connect us. We look forward to hearing yours.
