As a reminder, Sangam ’27 — the inaugural confluence of Indian classical and traditional performing arts — takes place at the Penn State University Park campus from March 26–28, 2027, jointly organized by the Society for Indian Music and Arts (SIMA) and the Indian Graduate Student Association (IGSA). We are accepting academic talks, interactive lecture-demonstrations, and panel discussions, including student-led panels.
We are also glad to share that, for abstracts selected by our Experts Committee, we anticipate being able to offer travel and accommodation waivers to a limited number of presenters. Details will be confirmed directly with those whose abstracts are accepted.
