Plein Air Competition at Riverwood Park
The Sauga Plein Air Group, in collaboration with Visual Arts Mississauga, are excited to hold our first-ever Plein Air Competition at Riverwood, with sponsorship support from Mississauga Arts Council.
Artists from across Ontario who enjoy creating and painting outdoors, will be participating in this two-day, free public event on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22, 2025. Time, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
The event will include a timed 3-hour competition, with cash prizes and an Honourable Mention. This is a chance for both artists and the public to engage in a creative celebration of nature and community in the heart of Mississauga.
The works of art will be on display and for sale at Visual Arts Mississauga at Riverwood Gallery for both days.
Sauga Plein Air Group will also have their 2nd Annual Group Show, “Impressions of Mississauga” in conjunction with this two day event.
Come out and view how visual artists celebrate the incredible parks and heritage locations that the city of Mississauga has preserved for all to enjoy!
