Kim Tran, professionally known as Kym Tea (she/her), is a Vietnamese, Canadian singer, dancer and model. Kym has played the piano and zither (Vietnamese string instrument) since she was eight years old and has been performing professionally since 10. Kym is best known for her opening stage performance alongside host Nguyễn Ngọc Ngạn which was filmed and released on Paris By Night, a popular Vietnamese music series. Since then, Kym’s love for performing expanded into dancing where she has competed in salsa and bachata.
