Sharing Policy
SaugaArtHUB.com (hereafter referred to as “SAH”) as of April 2024
Membership Criteria:
In order to have your content shared, you must be a member in good standing with the Mississauga Arts Council and have an account registered on SaugaArtsHUB.com
Submission Guidelines:
When submitting events or notices on the SAH website, we require all applicable fields to be completed to successfully share your content:.
- Picture/graphic and description
- Title of event/post and description
- Organizer name and content information
- Performer/artist names (if applicable)
- Date, time, and location for events
- External link to tickets, websites, emails, etc.
Content Selection Process:
Content submitted through the SAH platform (either as an event or as a post) will be approved and shared on our website unless the content is in violation of our rules. Content will also be considered for sharing on our social media channels and our HUB Highlights newsletters based on relevance to our audience and mandate. Although we would love to share every opportunity, event, and piece of news on our social channels, we receive thousands of web items over a calendar year, and sharing such a high volume of content isn’t feasible for us. We try to be diverse and fair in our choices for sharing, and are guided by what we think would serve our community best.
Feedback and Additional Support:
We welcome feedback and support requests regarding promotion through any SAH platform, however we cannot guarantee requests for additional support will be accommodated.
Mississauga Arts Council’s Role
MAC continues to highlight our member artists via our website and social media through MAC-created or shared content such as success stories, announcements, news, event coverage.
Thank You to our Community Members!
Your support and contributions enrich our local arts and entertainment scene. If you have any questions about this policy or feedback, email Sabrina at info@saugaartshub.com.
