TO INFORM, ENGAGE AND INSPIRE
Martys HUB connects Mississauga artists, arts organizations and businesses to the public, featuring artist profiles in a searchable directory, news, events, articles, videos, and more. Founded in 2021, and initiated by the Mississauga Arts Council, Martys HUB offers engaging online encounters between professional artists in Mississauga and the community.
Where does the name Martys come from? The MARTYS, also known as the Mississauga Arts Awards, are a distinguished and elegant red carpet event recognizing excellence in the arts in Mississauga. Carefully curated news and articles, local arts event listings, calls for artists, and a searchable artist directory are only a few of the things you can discover on Martys HUB.
We aim to foster talent, and provide a platform to inform, engage and inspire a supportive community. Whether you are an artist looking to expand your network, an arts supporter discovering new local creatives, or a venue wanting to promote your events, you can do it on Martys HUB.

The Mississauga Arts Council is dedicated to enabling the growth of the arts by creating opportunities and connections between artists and residents in Mississauga and beyond. Celebrating our milestone 40th anniversary this year, The Mississauga Arts Council is a registered charity, dedicated to accelerating progress toward the attainment of our Vision of Mississauga, as a vibrant cultural community where arts and culture thrive!
Our mission is to empower the Arts Economy by: Creating more opportunities & capacity; Connecting artists to audiences and each other; and Celebrating artist’s achievements.

We would like to thank our sponsors who have helped in Martys HUB’s creation and launch in 2021. It has been made possible through the support of various grants, organisations and individuals who have been integral to the creation of an online community where our membership can truly grow their audience, promote and sell their work, and connect with the public.
Martys HUB was created with the support of the Government of Canada’s Emergency Support Fund through the Community Foundation of Mississauga, and maintained through the support of TD Bank Group, Ontario Trillium Foundation, and the Mississauga Arts Council.
