The River Mouth 2025 Festival continues! Following our kickoff ft. Junia-T and the Ground Illusionz Crew, we invite you to the next chapter in our month-long celebration of the arts: a powerful workshop focused on performance, poetry and spoken word.
Join us on Thursday, October 9th, for an inspiring session led by two exceptional artists: the esteemed Ontario Poet Laureate, Testament, and the talented multidisciplinary artist MDRA.
This workshop is a unique opportunity to explore the power of your own voice. Participants will be guided through creative exercises designed to help them craft compelling narratives, sharpen their lyrical skills, and build confidence in their performance. Tying into our festival theme of “Cypher Circles,” this session delves into the ways words can create worlds, form connections, and contribute to a larger, shared story. Whether you’re a seasoned poet or just beginning to explore creative writing, this workshop offers a supportive space for growth.
Don’t miss this chance to learn directly from two of the most compelling voices in Mississauga arts today. Participants are also invited to perform at the River Mouth III Finale inside The Rec Room Square One on October 25th.
