Sumi-e Artists of Canada is a member-based community of artists connected by our deep respect for the ancient traditions of sumi-e painting and Asian calligraphy. Rooted in the origins of this expressive art form from China and Japan, and now centered in Toronto, Ontario, we celebrate the timeless beauty of brush and ink.

The opening reception starts at 1pm on Saturday November 1st. Come and meet the artists, visit the beautiful building and enjoy the atmosphere that the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre has to offer everyone across the GTA.
