The shoulder girdle is designed for remarkable mobility, yet it often feels stiff and restricted from the weight we carry—both physically and emotionally. In these sessions, we’ll lighten the load by integrating breath and mindful movement to reconnect with the bones and soft tissues of the shoulder girdle. Together, we’ll explore how these movements not only restore shoulder mobility but also influence the health of the spine.
Ideal for artists, musicians, and dancers, this work translates directly to your craft: smoother port de bras and overhead lines, more ease in lifts and turns, steadier posture for long rehearsals, freer bowing/strumming/keyboard reach, and deeper breath support for singers. Visual artists gain endurance for overhead and across-canvas work; actors and movers feel a more expressive, relaxed upper body and clearer stage presence. You’ll leave with simple warm-up and cool-down sequences to reduce tension, support longevity, and keep your creativity flowing—on stage, in the studio, and in everyday life.
All levels welcome. Also ideal for anyone experiencing frozen shoulder or any other shoulder ailments.
