A Live Actual Play Show & Experience, bringing storytelling and community together. For February, our theme is Sci-Fi Table Stage!
Table Stage is a community performance initiative that looks to offer an affordable, accessible, consistent, and inclusive space to not only watch an improvised show, but to also be encouraged to participate and be an active creator no matter one’s experience.
Using Tabletop Roleplaying Games (TTRPGs) as a foundation, our performers will present a setting that fits under the theme. After an introductory sketch improv scene, performers will disperse to lead 4 tables of audience participants in different “modules”. This is an opportunity to add to the story and details of the world, experiencing an abridged but heightened style of TTRPG. The successes, failures, and notable moments will inform the ending of the show where our performers will rejoin and face the grand challenge found in the introductory sketch.
This February, our second show’s theme will be Sci-Fi. This takes after the scientifically advanced and space-faring genre like Star Wars, Xenosaga, or Starstruck Odyssey. We will provide all the necessary materials, so feel free to just bring yourself and a collaborative mind!
We recommend coming when doors open, to meet the other audience members and have time to settle in.
