Paid Opportunity | February (Black History Month)

Honorarium: $100 per actor

Trillium Health Partnersโ€™ Black History Working Group is seeking actors to participate in an interactive teaching skit developed for our Black History Month leadership event.

This initiative is part of THPโ€™s ongoing anti-racism and equity journey and aligns with the following strategic priorities:

  • Inspire and invest in a diverse Team THP
  • Deliver the highest quality of care
  • Partner within a seamless healthcare system
  • Shape a healthier community for all

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The teaching skits are short, scripted reenactments of real-world scenarios of discrimination within healthcare settings. They are designed to foster reflection, dialogue, and learning among leaders attending an in-person Black History Month event.

Each skit will:

  • Run approximately 5โ€“10 minutes
  • Include intentional pauses facilitated by a moderator
  • Invite guided reflection and discussion

These are not performances for entertainmentโ€”they are purposeful learning tools rooted in lived experience, compassion, and courage.
