“Expressions of Light” is presented by the Mississauga Watercolour Society (MWS), showcasing a selection of its member’s work. 

Location: 399 The West Mall  at the Etobicoke Civic Center Art Gallery  with Reception July 20th, 2:00pm

 Watercolour is considered by many to be an excellent media for capturing the many characteristics of light because of its transparency and luminosity.   The paintings in this show will endeavour to reveal how light is reflected, absorbed, diffracted, or transmitted as it strikes various parts of a landscape, waterscape, still life, portrait, or figure.
