Ten emerging filmmakers created their very own short films inspired by plays being performed at the Mississauga Multilingual Fringe Festival 2023. These shorts will be screened for FREE on August 19 and 26, 7:30-9:30 PM at Sampradaya Theatre.
REGISTER
There are 10 theatre plays to be staged this year, and each filmmaker selected for this program was paired up with a theatre production. The filmmakers made these films about the productions themselves, the backstory, the themes the production explores and so on. The makers have explored genres such as documentary, mocumentary, drama, gags, and so on. The length of each film is between 6 to 10 minutes. Every film is either in English or carries English subtitles.
