On Thursday, October 16th, join us for an intensive session led by the acclaimed rap duo RUNXGUN (J.O. Mairs and Heavy G). This workshop moves beyond technique and gets to the core of what makes a story connect: being original, being creative, and being unapologetically you.
This is your chance to learn how to craft your narrative from two masters of the form. Inspired by RUNXGUN’s signature style of rugged, street-level storytelling, participants will explore how to transform personal experiences into compelling art. You will learn directly from:
– J.O. Mairs, who will share his methods for commanding a room and performing with an intensity that connects to every single person.
– Heavy G, who will guide you in getting personal, digging deep, and bringing vivid visions of your own past to life on the mic.
This workshop is for aspiring rappers, poets, lyricists, and any creator who wants to tell their story with more impact and honesty. No experience is necessary—only the courage to be real.
