And now the 1st Folk Festival on Friday 17th September 2021 at the Small Arms Inspection Building, Mississauga. In its nascent form, the SAWITRI FolkFest is a one-day festival featuring folk dancing to live and recorded music. We begin with two of the most popular folk dances of the state of Gujarat, the ‘garba’ followed by the ‘dandiya’. There will be a workshop prior to the event for those who would like to try it out.
So come and dance to the vocals of Nick Pandya and his band Vedik Vibez!
