The experience begins with experimental theatre and acting-based dynamics that invite participants to connect with their body and voice through play, music, movement and improvisation, generating a space of creative openness and trust.
Participants then move into action through painting, guided by visual artist Lydia Panart. Through colour, gesture, composition, texture and intuitive mark-making, they translate emotions, impulses, ideas or inner shifts into visual form, shaping an artwork that is not only created, but also lived and ultimately performed as an act of personal expression. The canvas becomes a space of action and transformation.
As a closing moment of the experience, participants develop a short text, either poetic, metaphorical, narrative, or even the title of their creation, inspired by their own visual artwork. This phase, Write It, emerges as a reflective act that gives language to what the image revealed, allowing image and word to enter into dialogue, enriching one another.
Rooted in experimental theatre, SWAP Through Paint creates an intimate space where art converges to inspire empowerment, creative risk, and authentic self-expression.
