The 16th Annual EKRAN Toronto Polish Film Festival – www.ekran.ca – is showcasing the best in Polish and European cinema from an array
of short films, feature films and documentaries, from Thursday, November 20 to Sunday, November 30, 2025. Since its founding, EKRAN has become an important cultural platform connecting Polish and Canadian communities through film, art and storytelling.
The only Polish film festival in Canada, bringing over 30 films, also brings to the stage the directors, producers and the talent for you to meet. For the first time this year, the festival has extended the locations of the screenings to Mississauga and Hamilton. Online festival passes and individual tickets are available for sale at www.ekran.ca and at the box office one hour before film screenings.
On Wednesday, November 26 at 6 p.m. there will be a screening of Franz (Franz Kafka) directed by renowned Polish director Agnieszka Holland at the Living Arts Centre, Mississauga, 4141 Living Arts Drive, with a reception after the screening at the Art Gallery of Mississauga, 300 City Centre Drive, at 8.30 p.m. The Mississauga festival starts on Monday, November 24.
