Professional musician extraordinaire Bruce Tournay is our featured artist (and pianist) for the next edition of West Vocal Jam happening on Friday, February 20 at the Clarke Hall in Port Credit. Singers of all levels are welcome!
This event was created to support vocalists in an encouraging, laid-back environment. All levels welcome. Vocalists, please email hcb@rogers.com to secure your performing spot. Due to demand, singers are asked to email hcb@rogers.com to pre-register to have a guaranteed performance spot. ALL ATTENDEES are welcome to pay-what-you-can in lieu of a cover charge. Suggested donation of $10-$20.
Our featured artist Bruce Tournay is a dynamic jazz pianist with over 30 years of experience performing across Canada and abroad from clubs and theatres to churches and cruise ships. Known for his expressive playing and versatility, Bruce has led stages as musical director at Toronto’s Massey Hall, backing comedians Russell Peters, Wayne Brady, and Brad Garrett and more! Bruce brings depth, soul, and a masterful touch to the keys.
We are blessed to welcome back award-winning musician Pat Collins on bass.
West Vocal Jam is a relaxed community program open to singers of all ages and all levels. Please note performing spots are limited. Singers are asked to bring 2 copies of your charts or leadsheets (NO SHEET MUSIC, or multiple pages).
