Heritage Mississauga is now accepting nominations for The Credits 2026 – An Evening of Regency Elegance, taking place on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
For more than 25 years, we have recognized outstanding individuals whose leadership, volunteerism, and dedication help shape the story of Mississauga. These “Heritage Heroes” strengthen our community, preserve our shared history, and inspire future generations.
This year’s gala draws inspiration from the refined world of Jane Austen and the glamour of Bridgerton — an era of candlelit gatherings, handwritten correspondence, and grand society evenings. Yet beyond the elegance lies a meaningful local connection. The Regency period coincides with the War of 1812, a pivotal chapter in our city’s early story, brought to life today by our living history group, Thompson’s Company.
Now, we invite you to help us honour the remarkable individuals who continue to shape Mississauga’s legacy.
