Sahar Golshan is the author of the debut picture book So Loud! (Annick Press, spring 2024) Illustrations by Shiva Delsooz. She is a writer, language learner, and the director of the short documentary KAR. Her writing has appeared in Room, Taclanese, The Ex-Puritan, Shameless, and Tongues: On Longing and Belonging through Language. She is the 2022 winner of the Marina Nemat Award for Creative Writing in Non-Fiction and a recipient of the 2019 Air Canada Short Film Award.
