CreativeHub 1352 is inviting buskers to apply and if selected perform at the Lakeview Farmers’ and Artisan Markets during the season. The Markets are a vibrant place to spend time, with vendors providing fresh produce, food products, and handcrafted artisanal goods. An average of 1400 attend the market each week and is greatly amplified against the backdrop of musicians and entertainers. A great spot for local publicity, during the 2021 season we have had on average 1400 market goers per Sunday!
The Lakeview Farmers’ and Artisan Market Committees are looking for buskers whose music will be complementary to an indoor market. We are looking in particular for acoustic, easy-listening music from local Mississauga-based musicians and performers at this time. The music should be a background sound for passersby to enjoy, allowing our vendors to communicate with their customers, and our residents to chat with each other. We are also accepting applications from artists or other entertainers.
Held at the Small Arms’ Inspection Building (1352 Lakeshore Rd. E, Mississauga), the Market has two performance areas: one at the Artisan Market, and another at the Farmers’ Market.
Only approved buskers or performers can perform at the Market.
All Buskers are responsible for adhering to all Federal, Provincial and City regulations, laws, andguidelines.
