This month we are reading Six Characters in Search of An Author by Luigi Pirandello.

In celebration of World Theatre Day (March 27), at Play Date we will be reading a play about Theatre! Six Characters in search of an author is a hilarious comedy about the absurdity of theatre and story telling. Six Characters In Search of An Author begins as actors are busy rehearsing for a play before opening. Rehearsals are running as expected, until six strangers burst into the rehearsal room uninvited, demanding to be heard! Who are they? What do they want? Why are they here?
