Mississauga Library Author Talks feature a wide range of talented writers. Hear authors read from their books, ask questions, learn about the writing process, and find out more about their craft of telling captivating stories. For ages 13 and over.

 

Their virtual event on Wed, April 24, 7-8 PM will feature Thomas Wharton.

 

April Author Talks features Thomas Wharton
 
Thomas Wharton is a writer, editor and professor. His first novel, Icefields, won the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize. His subsequent works include Salamander, The Logogryph, and a YA fantasy trilogy.
 
His latest novel, The Book of Rain, an eco-science-fantasy was shortlisted for the Atwood Gibson Writers Trust Prize in 2023. He teaches creative writing at the University of Alberta and lives in Edmonton.
