MUSIC CARE TRAINING™
Music Care by Room 217’s 3-level standardized training in the theory and application of music in care settings will help train professional, volunteer and family caregivers to integrate music into regular practice. This training also acts as a gateway for other stakeholders wanting to use music as care.
Level 3 – Becoming Music Care Advocates
Become a music care advocate in your care setting. Level 3 is a 6-week virtual mentorship program. Prerequisite: MUSIC CARE TRAINING LEVEL 2
You will:
- Develop contextualized understanding of a personal approach to music care delivery
- Develop advocacy skills to optimize music care delivery
- Develop practical music-related skills for optimizing music care delivery
- Develop deeper insight into a personal connection to music
- Demonstrate ability to facilitate music care experiences and/or public speaking
