U.N. Jefferson is a 9 piece collective that fuses elements of Soul with the fundamentals of Motown and early R&B to create a sound that is both familiar and fresh.
Rooted in the vintage sounds of James Brown, The Temptations, and Wilson Pickett the band manages to keep one foot in the foundation of traditional Soul while cultivating an authentic take on a classic genre.
Fronted by singer-songwriter Ajay Massey, U.N. Jefferson’s dynamic live performance delivers a high degree of energy and showmanship. The band’s infectious sound and Massey’s fervor for entertaining the crowd knows no bounds. Standing still is not an option.
Sunshine Makers
Sunshine is the phenomenon of little things coming together to create something much greater. As the name suggests, Sunshine Makers creates music that radiates with a warm glow. The music resonates with themes of positivity and hope—with love, peace, and unity always at the forefront. With a beautiful bouquet of vocal arrangements, and the use of organic instrumentation alongside analog synthesizers, the sonic appeal is an amalgamation of modern and classic vibes with deep roots in R&B, funk, jazz, and neo-soul.
Bitter&Broke
Bitter&Broke is a Canadian and pan-Asian live band and DJ trio. Curating the soundtrack to daily life – they cultivate sounds merging classic pallets of city pop, soul, jazz, and funk with the contemporary groove of neo-soul and R&B. This versatile group follows in the footsteps of the Isley Brothers, Erykah Badu, Prince and J Dilla, among other inspirations.
