Join us for 4 courses this fall!

Jump online with Frog in Hand’s CoFounders, Colleen Snell & Noelle Hamlyn, in our second ever World Building for Choreographers class. The class is 4 weeks on Thursdays starting on October 20, and it shares the process of creating imaginary worlds, optimizing the choreographer’s role for the collaborative process.

Colleen is also teaming up with our friend Sid Sawant, founder of onUP Productions film company, to bring you Dance on Film. This exclusive course is 5 weeks on Wednesdays, starting November 2. The course will teach film making from concept to creation at a studio in person, in Mississauga.

With grant season coming up, Grant Writing Basics is here to help. This workshop is comprised of an asynchronous (pre-recorded) video and a live discussion session on November 13 with Colleen (who’s had over ten years of grant experience).

Finally, you can write, write, and write some more! Join resident artist Andrew Gaboury in our popular Writing Circle on Tuesdays starting on October 25 for 8 classes.

Frog in Hand began with a cast of frogs performing circus tricks under the artistic direction of sisters, Noelle Hamlyn and Colleen Snell, who were one and five years old at the time. From this whimsical debut springs our firm belief that art begins in humble places – including the mud and grass of our own backyards. Although we are now a diverse collective of dancers, choreographers, musicians, actors, spoken word poets, designers and visual artists, we are still inspired by where we find ourselves. We are storytellers, adventurers of landscapes both imagined and real - we are proudly Port Credit based.
