Sabyasachi (Sachi) Nag is the author of Hands Like Trees, a story collection, (Ronsdale Press, 2023) and three collections of poetry, including Uncharted (Mansfield Press, 2021) and Could You Please, Please Stop Singing (Mosaic Press, 2015). His fiction and poetry have appeared in several journals worldwide including Canadian Literature, Grain, The Antigonish Review, The Dalhousie Review, The Windsor Review and The Guardian among other places. An alumnus of the Banff Centre Literary Arts Program, Sachi holds creative writing certificates from the Writer’s Studio at Simon Fraser University and Humber College. He received an M.F.A. in fiction from the University of British Columbia in November 2023 during which he earned a Master’s scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and the Gwen Hadley Scholarship in Literary Arts. He is the Managing Editor at Artisanal Writer, a craft journal and artist collective engaged in community arts.
