The Heartland Singers is a four-part harmony show chorus based out of Mississauga. They have been a part of the Sweet Adelines International singing organization for over 25 years. THS sings without any musical accompaniment which makes this style of artform rare as they try to produce overtones and undertones giving listeners goosebumps. Education and performing is an integral part of chorus life. Learning how to sing and perform is elementary to our success. The Heartland Singers compete in the spring every year at a regional convention held in Ontario. This year not only was The Heartland Singers awarded first place in their division, they were also named most improved chorus. The chorus is not formed of professional, or even amateur, musicians but instead an ensemble that loves music, singing and harmony. Performances occur regularly within the community too.
